Some things matter. Most don’t. This book is about learning the difference.

Mark Manson’s no-nonsense approach to life is as refreshing as it is honest. This book challenges us to care less about everything — and more about what truly matters.

The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck

by Mark Manson

This one reads like tough love — and that’s what makes it hit. Mark Manson cuts through the noise and tells us we don’t have to care about everything. In fact, the more we care about meaningless stuff, the less energy we have for what really matters.

What I liked most is how it flips the idea of "positive thinking." Instead of trying to be happy all the time, Manson argues that life gets better when we accept discomfort, take responsibility, and choose our values wisely. It’s blunt, funny, and honestly, pretty freeing.

One question that stuck with me: What are you choosing to struggle for? It’s a reminder that we all struggle — but choosing the right struggles is what gives life meaning.

This book is super accessible, especially if you’re just starting out with self-help or modern philosophy. If you’ve read it, let’s talk about what you do care about — and what you’ve decided to let go.
